- Before and Now, was the inspiration for In Sync and Weapons of Destruction.
My concept with In Sync was that I only drew with natural forms, organic shapes. The thorn branch being a symbol of natural protection found in nature.
In Weapons of Destruction, the candy tape signals danger. The landscape is filled with a sea of ever increasing urban sprawl. Above the tape of danger the African wild dog has disappeared and only its outline is left filled with the footprint of human sprawl. In the foreground are my Zumbabas with their characteristic features of deafness, gluttony, greed and self centricity.
